Abstract Od prvih reformi školstva pa sve do 21. stoljeća jasno se vidi da je praktičan rad imao veliku važnost u odgojno-obrazovnom sustavu i bio nezaobilazan dio nastave prirodoslovlja u Europi, svijetu i Hrvatskoj. Metoda praktičnih radova najpoznatija je praktična metoda koja se često primjenjuje u nastavi prirode i društva. Njezinu važnost kroz povijest ističu mnogi značajni pedagozi poput Jana A. Komenskog, H. Parkhourst, A. S. Neilla, G. Kerschensteinera, A. Ferrierea.
Značenje praktičnog rada očituje se u tome što učenici tijekom njegove primjene dolaze u neposredan kontakt s materijalima i procesom realizacije tog rada. Imaju priliku sami nešto oblikovati, uložiti određeni trud i na temelju toga donositi zaključke i doći do novih spoznaja. Pritom se razvija učenička sposobnost mišljenja, samopouzdanje i samostalnost jer je učeniku povjeren zadatak koji treba uspješno realizirati.
Nakon teorijskog dijela i analize ključnih pojmova povezanih s temom ovog diplomskog rada koji su izloženi u prvom dijelu diplomskog rada, u drugom dijelu rada predstavit će se rezultati istraživanja kojemu je cilj bio analizirati sadržaj i zastupljenost praktičnih zadataka u udžbenicima i radnim bilježnicama za nastavu prirode i društva. Potrebni podatci za ovo istraživanje prikupljeni su sadržajnom analizom udžbenika i radnih bilježnica za nastavni predmet Prirode i društva od 1. do 4. razreda. Istraživanje je bilo usmjereno na praktične zadatke u svim udžbenicima i radnim bilježnicama te na odgojno – obrazovne ishode učenja iz Kurikuluma za nastavni predmet priroda i društvo koji se realiziraju zadanim praktičnim zadatcima. Istraživanje je pokazalo da su neki praktični radovi zastupljeni u svim udžbenicima, ali su prisutni i određeni praktični zadatci koji se međusobno sadržajno razlikuju. Rezultati istraživanja su također pokazali kako su u udžbenicima i radnim bilježnicama prirode i društva većinom uzete u obzir preporuke za provedbu praktičnih radova dane u Kurikulumu za nastavni predmet Priroda i društvo te su takvim zadatcima realizirani mnogi zadani odgojno-obrazovni ishodi učenja.
Abstract (english) From first reformes of school and all the way to 21. st century, it is visibly clear that practical work plays really big role in learning process and is unavoidable part in every science teaching regardless of country, Europe or even Croatia. Method of practical work is most famous practical method that is used in learning science. Its relevance over the history is described by many pedagouges such as J. A. Komensky, H. Parkhourst, A. S. Neill, G. Kerschensteiner, A. Ferriere.
Significance of this method is that pupil during its implementation come in direct contact with the materials and with the very process of practical work and opportunity to form something, to put up effort in work and based on that to make a conclusion and new cognition. Pupil develop thinking, confidence and independence because pupil is entrusted with task which they need succesfully actualise.
After theoretical part of this paper and analysis of fundamental terms that are analyzed in firt parto f this paper, in second part of this paper resaults of research will be introduced. Main goal was to analyse content and representation of practical tasks in textbooks and workbooks in subject of science. Needed datas for this research are collected by substantive analysis of textbooks and workbooks for subject science. Research was directed on practical tasks in all of textbooks and workbooks and on outcomes form curriculum for subject science which are achieved by practical tasks. Research showed that some of practical tasks can be found in all textbooks, but there are also practical tasks which are different by content. Research also showed that textbooks and workbooks contain most of recommendation for implementation of practical tasks given by curriculum for subject science. With these practical tasks many outcomes of learning are fulfilled.
