Abstract
Stopala predstavljaju jedinstvenu cjelinu kojom se održava ravnoteža ljudskog tijela i podložna su deformacijama. Spuštena stopala su deformacija koja se javlja zbog različitih uzročnika, a jedan od njih je i suvremen način života. U populaciji školske djece najčešće se javljaju jer se zapostavlja fizička aktivnost čime slabi muskulatura tijela. Postoje različiti načini kojima se mogu prevenirati spuštena stopala i kojima se mogu spriječiti daljnja napredovanja deformiteta. Jedan od tih načina su vježbe za stopala koje se mogu provoditi i na satu Tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture. Treba osvijestiti učenike i roditelje da se pravovremenom dijagnozom spuštenog stopala, provođenjem mjera za sprječavanje daljnjeg napredovanja deformiteta mogu izbjeći komplikacije u starijoj životnoj dobi. Provedena su brojna istraživanja spuštenosti stopala kao jedne od deformacija stopala u različitim državama s učenicima različite dobi. Cilj ovog rada bio je opisati i definirati spušteno stopalo, predložiti vježbe kojima se može ublažiti deformacija stopala te provesti istraživanje kojim se utvrdio postotak učenika mlađe školske dobi koji imaju status spuštenih stopala, a pohađaju osnovnu školu u Svetoj Nedelji, utvrditi postoji li razlika u spolu kod pojave spuštenih stopala te provjeriti postoji li povezanost tjelesne težine i visine sa spuštenim stopalima. Istraživanjem koje je provedeno na uzorku od 49 učenika osnovne škole u Svetoj Nedelji, dobi između 6 i 7 godina, dobiven je postotak učenika koji imaju status spuštenih stopala, a iznosio je 18.37%. Istraživanjem je utvrđeno da postoji razlika u spolu kod pojave spuštenih stopala. Rezultati su pokazali da ne postoji statistički značajna korelacija tjelesne visine i tjelesne težine i spuštenih stopala.
Abstract (english)
The feet respresent a unique whole that maintains the balance of the human body and are subject to deformation. Flat feet are foot deformity which occurs due to various causes and one od them is the modern way of life. In the population of school children, physical activity is neglected therefore the body muscles is weakened. There are different ways in which flat feet can be prevented and which can prevent further progression of the deformity. One of these ways is foot exercises that can also be performed in a Physical education in school. Students and parents should be aware that timely diagnosis of flat feet, implementing measures to prevent further progression of deformity, can prevent complications in old age. Numerious studies of flat feet as one of the foot deformities have been conducted in different states and with different ages of students. The aim of this research was to describe and define flat feet, to suggest exercises that can mitigate foot deformity and to investigate and determine the percentage of younger school age students with deformed feet who attend elementary school in Sveta Nedelja, to determine wheather there is a gender difference in appearance of flat feet and to verify wheather there is correlation between body height and weight and flat feet. The research conducted on a sample of 49 students of the Elementary school Sveta Nedelja, aged between 6 and 7, obtained the percentage of students who have the status of flat feet and it was 18.37%. The research determined that there was a gender differences in the occurrence of flat foot. The results indicated that there was no statistically significant correlation between body height and weight and flat feet.
