The aim of this work is the analysis of web digital tools and ways of using them to create activities for the subject "Nature and Society" and "Croatian Language". The basic concepts necessary for understanding the process of upbringing and education with the help of information and communication technology are defined. The research presents the application of selected web digital tools and the creation of two activities applied to students in classes. The paper lists three categories of web digital tools, namely: digital tools for creating visual, auditory and audiovisual teaching materials. From each category, those digital tools that are the simplest and most appropriate for students and teachers of primary education are presented. So, for the first category of digital tools, the following tools will be presented: Canva, Genially, Bubbl.us, Wizer.me, Kahoot! and ThingLink. For the second category, two auditory digital tools are described: Audacity and Vocaroo. And in the last, third category, three digital tools will be described, namely: Stop Motion Studio, Kizoa and Animoto. Information and communication technology encourages students to learn independently and collaboratively, to be creative,doing researches and express their opinions, while on the other hand it helps teachers in teaching and in the evaluation process, i.e. monitoring the work and progress of students. The use of digital tools creates positive patterns for the student's further development and lifelong learning. This thesis will analyze the advantages and disadvantages of selected digital tools for creating teaching materials in class. Also, the novelties introduced this year in certain digital tools will be described and listed. Two digital tools - Canva and Genially - will be used to create two examples of activities.
