Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se temom tjelesne aktivnosti roditelja i njihove djece rane i predškolske dobi te se ispitivao njihov međusobni utjecaj. Sudionici istraživanja bili su roditelji (N=75) i njihova djeca rane i predškolske dobi (N=75) od 2. do 7. godine starosti. Cilj ovoga diplomskog rada bio je istražiti povezanost između razine tjelesne aktivnosti roditelja i razine tjelesne aktivnosti njihove djece, odnosno utječe li razina tjelesne aktivnosti roditelja na razinu tjelesne aktivnosti njihova djeteta. Uz to, cilj je bio ispitati pridržavaju li se roditelji i djeca službenih preporuka o primjerenoj tjednoj količini tjelesne aktivnosti. Sukladno tome, korištena su dva internacionalna upitnika, jedan namijenjen za roditelje, a drugi za djecu rane i predškolske dobi: IPAQ-SF (International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short form ) i CPAQ (The Children`s Physical Activity Questionnaire). Doista, rezultati istraživanja pokazuju kako najveći udio djece s visokom razinom tjelesne aktivnosti pripada roditeljima s visokom razinom TA. Također, analizom rezultata zaključuje se kako se i roditelji i njihova djeca pridržavaju smjernica SZO-a.
Abstract (english)
This paper explores the topic of physical activity of parents and their children of early and preschool age and examines their mutual influence. The research participants were parents (N=75) and their children of early and preschool age (N=75) from 2 to 7 years of age. This thesis aimed to investigate the connection between the level of physical activity of parents and the level of physical activity of their children, i.e. whether the level of physical activity of parents affects the level of physical activity of their child. In addition, the goal was to examine whether parents and children adhere to official recommendations on the appropriate weekly amount of physical activity. Accordingly, two international questionnaires were used, one intended for parents, and the other for children of early and preschool age: IPAQ-SF (International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short form) and CPAQ (The children's Physical Activity Questionnaire). Indeed, the research results show that the largest share of children with a high level of physical activity belongs to parents with a high level of physical activity. Furthermore, from the result analysis, it is concluded that both parents and their children adhere to WHO guidelines.
