Abstract
U predškolskoj dobi, razvojni procesi mozga su u punom jeku, što čini ove poremećaje posebno osjetljivima na utjecaj. Stoga je važno razumjeti njihove uzroke, kliničke karakteristike te pristupe dijagnostici i terapiji. Epilepsija i febrilne konvulzije mogu imati različite oblike i težinu, što zahtijeva individualni pristup u liječenju. Osim toga, važna je i edukacija obitelji i odgojitelja o pravilnom postupanju tijekom napadaja, kao i prepoznavanje znakova koji ukazuju na hitnu medicinsku intervenciju. Sveobuhvatan pristup ovoj tematici, uz suradnju stručnjaka iz područja neurologije, pedijatrije i obrazovanja, ključan je za osiguravanje najbolje moguće kvalitete života djece koja se suočavaju s epilepsijom i febrilnim konvulzijama.
Abstract (english)
In preschool age, brain development processes are in full swing, making these disorders particularly susceptible to influence. Therefore, it is important to understand their causes, clinical characteristics, and approaches to diagnosis and therapy. Epilepsy and febrile convulsions can manifest in various forms and severity, requiring an individualized approach to treatment. Additionally, educating families and caregivers on proper procedures during seizures and recognizing signs that require urgent medical intervention are essential. A comprehensive approach to this topic, involving collaboration among experts in neurology, pediatrics, and education, is crucial to ensuring the best possible quality of life for children facing epilepsy and febrile convulsions.
