ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) or attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder is a developmental disorder of self-control. It is characterized by indicators of inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity. It comes in three forms: the hyperactive/impulsive type, the inattentive type and the combined type. The diagnosis is most often made when the child starts school. In order for a child to be diagnosed with ADHD, it has to have at least six symptoms of attention or at least six symptoms of hyperactivity and impulsivity. It is also important that the symptoms last for at least six months and must significantly interfere with the ability to function in everyday life and must be present in multiple situations. Students who have ADHD cannot sit still, everything distracts them, they break into the words and interrupt others, they do not feel that some of their reactions or something they do disturbs others in their work. It is necessary to keep such students closer to you, in the first benches and if it possible they need to sit alone so they do not disturb another student. The instructions given to them must be short, clear, they must not be many and they must be repeated often. The aim of the paper is to explain the ADHD disorder, present the simplest tips and methods that help teachers in working with students who have ADHD, show the school work and progress of a student with ADHD and his relationship with other students in the class.
