Abstract
Problem današnjice je sve manja priklonjenost igri, sportu i sportskim aktivnostima koje djeca i mladi zamjenjuju aktivnostima virtualnog svijeta koje za sobom mogu donijeti nekolicinu posljedica koje uključuju i zdravstvene poteškoće. Brojna istraživanja pokazuju koliko djeca vremena izdvajaju za pasivne aktivnosti, poput gledanje televizije, koje su im daleko ispred aktivnosti kojima aktiviraju cijelo svoje tijelo. Temeljni cilj ovog istraživanja bio je utvrditi koliko slobodnog vremena imaju djeca urbane i ruralne sredine. Sukladno tome, nastojalo se utvrditi i na koji način djeca provode ponuđeno slobodno vrijeme, odnosno koliko ulogu za njih ima sport prilikom korištenja istog. Uzimajući u obzir temeljni cilj ovog istraživanja postavljeno je i šest problema istraživanja pomoću kojih se nastojalo ispitati djecu o njihovom stajalištu prema satovima tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture, odnosno jesu li oni pozitivni ili negativni. Isto tako, djeca su ispitana o dostupnosti sportskih sadržaja u njihovim školama, ali i na području njihove bliže okoline. Također, nastojalo se utvrditi o zasićenosti parkovima u blizini njihova doma, na koji način najčešće provode slobodno vrijeme te koji su zaista njihovi prioriteti tijekom jedne školske godine. Istraživanje je provedeno u dvije županije, Gradu Zagrebu i Zagrebačkoj županiji, odnosno nastojale su se utvrditi razlike između ispitanika urbane i ruralne sredine, ali i između djevojčica i dječaka međusobno. Sudionici istraživanja bila su djeca koja pohađaju treće i četvrte razrede osnovnih škola. Rezultati pokazuju kako je zasićenost sportskim aktivnostima i u školi i izvan nje veća u urbanoj nego u ruralnoj sredini baš kao što je slučaj i s količinom parkova, no djeca oba područja svejedno zadržavaju pozitivan stav prema samoj nastavi tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture te sport drže visoko na listi svojih prioriteta.
Abstract (english)
This paper problematizes the decline of sport and outdoor activities among children that leads to potentially dangerous consequences, especially health issues. Numerous researches tend to show that children nowadays prefer passive type of activities, such as watching TV or playing videogames. In that sense, the main goal of this research was to investigate how children between age nine and eleven in both rural and urban communities spend their leisure time, and to what point is sports important for them. The research itself is elaborated in six research questions that give answer on the children’s viewpoint on physical education, as well as availability of sporting facilities in school or immediate surrounding. In addition, availability of public parks was also one of the factors included in the research to help investigate leisure time priorities among pupils. The research itself was conducted in the city of Zagreb and Zagreb County so that the differences between urban and rural communities could be shown, as well as differences between boys and girls. The results show that children in urban communities have a broader possibility of engaging in sport activities, but both children from urban and rural communities hold sports very important and high on their list of priorities.
