Abstract Expressionism is mainly a painting movement. The basic theme is the expression of emotions through non-objective forms and arbitrary colors. Canvases of large (monumental) dimensions, strong color contrasts and free (gestural) brush and brush movements are used for the background. Personal, internal psychological struggles, the external coupling between man and nature and the search for spiritual balance are the basic ideas of the artists of this movement. Serial creation of images and their division on the series by their creators, supports these types. The work Stain composition represents a series of 6 works. Traditional materials, such as oil paints and canvas, have been replaced by industrial "fast" materials that are in everyday use. The works of free compositions were created in the spirit of abstract expressionism and free application of paint on the substrate.
