The author, based on the scientific literature, at that time periodicals and archives, analyzes the political biography of Ante Ciliga One of the most significant Croatian dissidents. In 1924 Ante Ciliga becomes secretary of Regional secretariat of KPY for Croatia and Slovenia and two years after, Ciliga moves to USSR where, in 1929, got arrested and sent to Siberia. After his release, Ante Ciliga moves to Paris. In 1941 Ciliga is returning to Independent State of Croatia and once again he ends in prison, only this time in Jasenovac. Shortly after his arrest he is relesed from Jasenovac and he began his political activity. In 1944 went to Berlin where he worked in embassy of Independent State of Croatia.Based on the findings of life and activity Ante Ciliga, we can get to know the fate of personality that comply with personal convictions, mostly in the rough conditions. Historical analysis with interpretation in connection with rare procedures or rather processes which is due expressed totalitarian system avoided most, but unlike them Ciliga them is not denied, suggest investigate and provide answers to many questions which is of interest in this master's thesis. His developing attitudes influenced by experiences that have often been dangerous to life is a challenge historiography, but also philosophers in terms of ethical issues, therefore work requires a multidisciplinary approach.
