Abstract Mediji u životu današnjeg čovjeka i suvremenog društva imaju veoma važnu društvenu ulogu i snažne učinke, tako da nije moguće analizirati i razumjeti društveni i osobni život, ako se ne uvažava njihovo djelovanje. Mediji imaju važnu ulogu u ljudskoj svakodnevici, a posebno u svakodnevici mladih ljudi koji su u sve većoj mjeri izloženi medijima i društvenim mrežama stoga i katolički mediji u Hrvatskoj žele sve više sadržaja namijeniti mladima. Razvijanjem tehnologije mediji zauzimaju sve veći prostor u oblikovanju mladih koji su jedni od najvjernijih korisnika medija. Provedeno je kvalitativno istraživanje, a korištene su metode intervjua i analize sadržaja. Intervju su provedeni s dvoje mladih novinara pomoću polustrukturiranog intervjua koji iz prve ruke mogu posvjedočiti o iskustvu mladih u radu u katoličkim medijima. Također, provedena je analiza sadržaja dviju odabranih tiskovina iz katoličkih medija u Hrvatskoj: Glas Koncila i Veritas. Analizira su tri broja katoličkog mjesečnika Veritasa – godište LXI. iz 2022. godine i šest brojeva katoličkog tjednika Glasa Koncila – godište LXI. iz 2022. godine. Kvalitativno istraživanje je pokazalo da su katolički mediji drugačiji i posebniji od svjetovnih jer se ne fokusiraju na senzacionalizam, politiku i razne afere kada izvještavaju o mladima. Utvrđeno je da broj mladih koji rade u katoličkim medijima nije velik, no oni mladi koji su zaposleni u katoličkim medijima aktivni su na razne načine, od vjerskih i društvenih tema do vođenja društvenih mreža, aktivnosti u zajednicama i u posebnim rubrikama, objavljivanja intervjua s istaknutim mladim pojedincima te raznih priča i komentara na tekuća događanja. Odgovori sudionika su raznoliki, no slažu se u jednome, a to je da smatraju kako prostora za napredak u suradnji i uključivanju mladih kroz rad katoličkih medije uvijek ima. Istraživanje je pokazalo da su najčešći tematski okviri koji se naglašavaju u prilozima vezanima za mladima osobne priče i iskustva mladih, a na drugom mjestu su događaji vezani uz mlade te aktivnosti mladih u društvu. Vrijednosni sudovi koji se iznose o mladima u prilozima su najčešće pozitivni.
Abstract (english) Media in the life of today's man and contemporary society have a very important social role and powerful effects, so it is not possible to analyze and understand social and personal life, if their actions are not respected. The media play an important role in human everyday life, especially in the everyday life of young people who are increasingly exposed to the media and social networks, therefore the Catholic media in Croatia want more and more content aimed at young people. With the development of technology, the media occupy an ever-increasing space in the shaping of young people, who are one of the most faithful users of the media. Qualitative research was conducted, and interview and content analysis methods were used. The interview was conducted with two young journalists using a semi-structured interview, who can testify firsthand about the experience of young people working in the Catholic media. Also, an analysis of the content of two selected newspapers from the Catholic media in Croatia was carried out: Glas Koncila and Veritas. Analyzes three issues of the Catholic monthly Veritas – year LXI. from the year 2022 and six issues of the Catholic weekly Glas Koncila – year LXI. from 2022. Qualitative research has shown that Catholic media are different and more special than secular media because they do not focus on sensationalism, politics and various affairs when reporting on young people. It was found that the number of young people working in the Catholic media is not large, but those young people who are employed in the Catholic media are active in various ways, from religious and social topics to running social networks, activities in communities and in special sections, publishing interviews with prominent young people individuals and various stories and comments on current events. The answers of the participants are varied, but they agree on one thing, and that is that they believe that there is always room for progress in cooperation and the involvement of young people through the work of the Catholic media. The research showed that the most common thematic frameworks that are emphasized in articles related to young people are personal stories and experiences of young people, and in second place are events related to young people and activities of young people in society. Value judgments expressed about young people in articles are mostly positive.
