Abstract
Brodarski promet oduvijek je bio važan način odvijanja prometa. Brodarski putovi se koriste i za gospodarske svrhe i danas im se, kao i u prošlosti, posvećivalo puno pažnje. Iz navedenog razloga brojne države ulažu u razvoj vlastite trgovaĉke flote i brodarstva. Kada je riječ o Hrvatskoj, pokušaji Vlade i mjere vezane uz razvoj brodarstvo poprilično su loše i neučinkovite. To potvrđuje i činjenica da se iz godine u godinu smanjuje hrvatska trgovačka flota. Bitan segment razvoja brodarstva je i financiranje kupnje brodova. U Hrvatskoj se financiranje većinom svodi na mogućnosti koje nude leasing kuće i banke, a te mogućnosti za ulagače su među manje povoljnima s obzirom na uvjete financiranja.
Abstract (english)
Maritime traffic has always been an important way of transport. Maritime routes are also used for economic purposes and today, as in the past, they paid a lot of attention. For this reason, numerous countries invest in the development of their own merchant fleet and shipping. When it comes to Croatia, government attempts and measures related to shipbuilding development are pretty bad and ineffective. This is also confirmed by the fact that the Croatian merchant fleet is reduced annually. A key segment of shipping development is financing the purchase of ships. In Croatia, funding is mostly limited to the opportunities offered by leasing houses and banks, and these opportunities for investors are less favorable given the terms of financing.
