Abstract
Marketing brodarskih tvrtki ne bavi se samo razvojem i provedbom strategija. Da bi on bio uspješan mora biti orijentiran na kupce, a brodarske tvrtke moraju to dokazati svojim unutarnjim i vanjskim aktivnostima. Marketing orijentiran na kupce govori koliko tvrtke poznaju potrebe svojih klijenata, te na koji način će tvrtke dobivene informacije upotrijebiti za stvaranje vrijednosti i poboljšavanje svojih transportnih usluga. Za pravilnu primjenu marketinga u brodarstva potrebno je razviti odgovarajući marketinški program koji će se sastojati od analize tržišta, segmentacije tržišta, planiranja, pozicioniranja, promocije i usluge transporata. Također, preduvjet učinkovitog brodarskog marketinga je razumijevanje različitih potreba klijenata na različitim tržišnim segmentima
Abstract (english)
Marketing of shipping companies is not just about developing and implementing strategies. In order to be successful, it must be customer-oriented and shipping companies must prove this with their internal and external activities. Customer-oriented marketing shows how aware certain company is of their customers’ needs and how it will use the information to create value and improve their transportation services. For the proper application of marketing in shipping, it is necessary to develop an appropriate marketing program that will consist of market analysis, market segmentation, planning, positioning, promotion and transportation services. Precondition for effective shipping marketing is also understanding the different needs of clients in different market segments.
