Abstract Pregovaranje je pojava koja je stalno prisutna u našim životima. Znati pregovarati je jako važno, jer ono predstavlja jednu od vještina nužnu za život, bilo u poslovnom ili privatnom svijetu. Bez obzira da li je cilj pobjeda, kompromis ili razvijanje dobrih osobnih odnosa, pregovarači moraju biti upoznati sa kulturom pojedine zemlje i naroda, te njihovim taktikama, strategijama kako bi ostvarili što bolje rezultate pregovaranja. Razlike u međunarodnom poslovnom pregovaranju uključuju mnoge elemente pregovaranja, kao što su vrijeme trajanja pregovora, važnost pregovora, broj ljudi u pregovaračkom timu, njihov položaj. Stavovi, očekivanja i ponašanje pregovarača utječe na stil pregovaranja.
U diplomskom radu analizirat će se kulturološke razlike pet brzorastućih ekonomija svijeta: Brazila, Rusije, Indije, Kine i Južnoafričke republike. BRICS zemlje imaju jaku tendenciju rasta i razvoja te zauzimaju veliku dio svjetske površine i svjetskog stanovništva, te će glavni dio rada biti usmjeren na studije slučaja pregovaranja u tim zemljama. Abstract (english) Negotiation is constantly present in our lives. Knowing how to negotiate is very important because it is one of the skills that is necessary in our professional and private lives. Negotiation presents the way people solve problems which they encounter every day, so negotiation is considered one of the basic forms of human communication, which is used not even consciously.Successful negotiation demands good preparation, which means collecting information about personal alternatives and other

Regardless of whether our aim is victory, compromise or personal relation's development, negotiators have to know culture of specific country or people, and their tactics and strategies in order to achieve the best results in negotiating. Differences in international business involve many elements of negotiation, such as duration and importance and a number of people in negotiation team and their position. Attitudes, expectations and behavior of negotiation influence the negotiating style. In this diploma work cultural differences in five fast-growing economies of the world (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) will be analyzed. BRICS countries have very strong tendency of growth and development and they have a great part of the world's surface and population, so the main part of this work will be focused on study case of negotiation in those countries.
