Abstract Suvremenu organizaciju, u današnjem globalnom svijetu, možemo definirati kao udruživanje ljudi, koji imaju sposobnost da zajedničkim snagama ostvare unaprijed zacrtane ciljeve u određenom trenutku te ostvare uspješnost same organizacije. Pojavom globalizacije, razvojem svijeta i nove tehnologije organizacije sve više svoju pažnju posvećuju svojim zaposlenici. Smatra se da su znanje, vještine i sposobnosti samih zaposlenika, kao i njihov razvoj, obrazovanje i usavršavanje ključ uspjeha i održive konkurentske prednosti na globalnom tržištu.
Stoga, organizacije sve više ulažu u razvoj, obrazovanje i usavršavanje zaposlenika, organizirajući različitite obrazovne programe ili edukacije. Provođenje obrazovanja zaposlenika najefikasniji je način za ostvarenje konkurentske prednosti. Investiranje organizacije u obrazovanje zaposlenika ključan je pokazatelj uspješnosti organizacije u globalnom poslovanju. Obrazovanjem zaposlenika osiguravaju se nova znanja, vještine i sposobnosti koje su im potrebne u radu s novim tehnologijama, u inovacijama, potiću kreativnost i učenje, ali i suradnju s drugim zaposlenicima koji doprinose ostvarenju ciljeva odnosno uspješnosti organizacije.
Proces obrazovanja, usavršavanje i razvoj zaposlenika u suvremenoj organizaciji u ovom radu prikazan je na velikoj kompaniji Podravki d.d. Podravka d.d. je suvremena organizacija koja smatra da su ključ uspjeha njeni zaposlenici. Stoga, kako bi održala konkurentsku prednost, Podravka d.d. svojim zaposlenicima nudi dodatna obrazovanja različitim obrazovnim procesima i edukacijama te na taj način pomaže svojim zaposlenici da se razvijaju i svakodnevno usavršavaju te teže ostvarenju zajedničkih ciljeva, što svakako pridonosi uspješnosti.
Abstract (english) In today's global world, we may define modern organization as an association of people, who have the competency to achieve the target goals at specific time and achieve the success of the organization itself. More attention is shown to the employees as the globalization and the development of the world and new technology of the organizations took places. It is believed that the knowledge, skills and abilities of employees themselves as well as their career development, education and training are the keys to success and to maintain competitive advantage at the global market. Therefore, organizations are increasingly investing in the development, education and training of employees, by organizing various educational programs or seminars. Implementation of employee education is the most effective way to achieve competitive advantage. Investing in the education of employees is a key indicator of the success of the organization in global business. Education of employees provides new knowledges, skills and abilities that they need to work with new technologies and innovations, encourage creativity and learning, as well as cooperation with other employees that contribute to the realization of the goals and success of the organization. This paper is will show the process of education, training and development of employees in the modern organization at large company Podravka d.d. Podravka d.d. is a modern organization that believes that the employees are the key to the success. Therefore, in order to maintain a competitive advantage, Podravka d.d. offers its employees additional education through different educations and training processes. This way Podravka d.d. helps its employees to develop and improve every day and motivates them to work on achievement of common goals, which certainly contributes to success.
