Abstract Komunikacija danas uvelike se razlikuje od one koja se odvijala putem telefona, pošte i licem u lice. Društvene mreže, poput Twitter-a, LinkdIn-a, Instagram-a, Facebook-a i mnogih drugih, utjecale su na samu komunikaciju, ubrzale je i omogućile njihovim korisnicima da slobodno iznose svoje stavove o objavljenim temama. Hipoteze su formirane temeljem istraživačkog pitanja u kojoj mjeri korisnici društvene mreže Facebook izražavaju negativne emocije u odnosu na neki događaj, te jesu li muškarci skloniji izražavanju negativnih emocija od žena.
Primarni podaci prikupljeni su analizom komentara korisnika na hrvatskim stranicama društvene mreže Facebook u razdoblju od 1. do 10. veljače 2017.
Istraživanje je obuhvatilo devet objava s najvećim brojem komentara, po tri za svaku temu, te je obuhvaćeno ukupno 2741 osoba, 1939 muškaraca i 802 žene. Od ukupno 3920 komentara, 75% (2921) ih je sadržavalo negativnu emociju dok je svega 25% (999) bilo pozitivnih. Od negativnih emocija, najčešće se izražavala emocija srdžbe, potom žalosti i neugodnog iznenađenje, dok se od pozitivnih najčešće izražavala emocija radosti.
Prema rezultatima istraživanja, veći je broj korisnika koji su u svojim komentarima izražavali negativne emocije (75%) i to su, uglavnom bili muškarci, njih 72 %.
Istraživanje je potvrdilo većinu postavljenih hipoteza, osim one vezane za temu kurikularne reforme prema kojoj je manji broj korisnika Facebook društvene mreže koji u svojim komentarima izražavaju negativne emocije. Less
Abstract (english) Communication today is very different from the one that took place via telephone, email and face to face.. Social networks, such as Twitter, LinkdIn's, Instagram, Facebook and many others, have influenced the communication, speeding it up and allowing their users to freely express their views about the published topics. Hypotheses are formed on the research questions of the extent to which users of social network Facebook express their negative emotions in relation to an event, and that the men are more inclined to express negative emotions than women.
Primary data were collected by analyzing user reviews on the Facebook in the period 1 to 10 February 2017.
The study included nine posts with the highest number of comments, three for each theme, and included a total of 2,741 people, 1,939 men and 802 women. From a total of 3920 comments, 75% (2,921) of them contained negative emotions while only 25% (999) were positive. Commonly expressed negative emotions were anger, then sadness and unpleasant surprise, while commonly expressed positive emotion was emotion of joy.
According to the research, there are more users who, in their comments, express negative emotions (75%) and they are mostly men, 72% of them.
The research confirmed the majority of the hypotheses, except the one related to the topic of curriculum reform, according to which there are a smaller number of users which express negative emotions. Less
