Guerilla marketing is an innovative concept of applying marketing within business. Envisioned as a means for small and middle-sized entrepreneurs that would allow them successful low cost advertising. A successful marketing campaign is created by hearing the needs of buyers and creative deliberation with the help of innovative marketing tools. Expected outcome is creating solid relations with buyers who self-willingly become distributors of advertisements. Technological advancement and the emergence of social networks has facilitated two way communication, which is used to create brand trust. Within this thesis we commence from the origins of guerilla marketing, the concepts of mini media and maxi media marketing are explained, the tactics of guerilla marketing are explained using examples, the social media phenomenon is mentioned along side its suitability for this form of marketing. Applying of guerilla tactics within promotional activities of a telecommunication company is demonstrated through a business case.
