Below is a final work on the third year of the Civil Engineering of University North, Varaždin, it will describe the engineering approach to the construction of roads,the preparation for the construction of roads through the application of modern computer programs and design modules. This paper is designed to show the application of the Plateia program package for the purpose of reconstructing the road „Branimirova Ulica“, Trnovec Bartolovečki. The final work consists of a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical or the first part of the final work after the introduction it starts with the basic division of roads. After the division of the roads we cross over to the description of the cross section of the road where all the contents and elements that appear on transverse profile are described, followed by the detailed description of the drainnage of the road. Following the drainage, follow the basic floor plan elemens of the road and what is important to know about the horizontal line running, followed by a vertical guiding of the line in which the parameters of the longitudinal profile of the road are explained. And as the last part of the theretical part follows the chapter on the road contruction and its elements. After the theoretical part follows a technical solution for the reconstruction of the road where all necessary works for a single road are described. At the end of the work, a software package „Plateia“ that was used for reconstruction of the road is described.
