This paper contains: 1. Theoretical part, and 2. Practical part. In the first part of this paper NDT methodes in general are described. It is given the definition of NDT, used abbreviations are mentioned and the differences between NDT and NDE are defined. The history of NDT is described in detail, advantages and disadvantages of NDT are listed and it's described how NDT technology is implemented. In subsection „Division of NDT“ the division of methodes in respect to the physical principles are given and each method is briefly described. At the end of the theoretical part the control of welded joint is represented. Second part of this paper was conducted in the company Te-Pro d.o.o. Visual control is described in details, physical bases of visual control and observation of details in visual control is described. In subsection „Equipment and accessories“ the equipment without any visual quality control can not be done are specified. Furhter, it is described how viusal control is evaluated and examples of dimensional control of welded joint with millimeter scale measurement equipment and magnifier are given. In chapter „Irregularities in welded joint“ many irregularities are described and they are accompanied with picture of practical examples during the production. At the end of this paper used documentation during the visual control is shown.
