Abstract Svaki mir prethodi nekom borbom, a tu beskonačnu petlju dokumentiraju hrabri ljudi kroz različite kanale kako bi ostatak čovječanstva saznao i arhivirao povijesne trenutke, a jedan od tih kanala je ratna fotografija.
Abstract (english) Every peace is preceded by a struggle, and this infinite loop is documented by brave people through various channels to let the rest of mankind know and archive historical moments, and one of these channels is war photography. Photography is one of the most powerful methods of communication in the media, through photography people can expand their vision across the globe and, besides nice things, see the bad, sad, shocking situations that have changed the way we see the world. War photography is the risk, will and love to this branch of art, as well as the desire to bring information to those people who want to know something and not feel anything physical about it. It is difficult to stay indifferent to this kind of photography, because of that people have different views, emotions and interpretation of war photography. This paper describes the beginnings of this branch of photography as well as significant photographers who have changed the way we see the world that is sometimes difficult to watch and convey the news in a realistic way. In order to transfer the news through photography as accurately as possible, ethical principles are used, and the problem with the transfer of news through photography is photomanipulation, in order to make certain situations fake. The purpose of this paper is to explain the importance of this branch of photography, how it can affect people, and how it has changed the way we look at the world.
