Abstract (english) The goal of nursing management is to create a quality team that will reflect on the quality of patient care. It is appearing for the first time in Croatia in 2006/2007. year, introducing a specialist graduate professional study "Management in Nursing" at the Medical Polytechnic in Zagreb. The main task of management in nursing is to provide quality care in the way of investing in raising the knowledge and skills of nurses, to form a quality team that will, under the guidance of the manager, achieve the set goals. In order to achieve the goal, it is necessary to use time productively to perform all the activities that were planned. Time management as an organizational resource of today, brings many benefits. Many researchers have confirmed that time management skills positively affect the productivity and efficiency of individuals, their satisfaction with work and their health. A manager is a person who manages an organization and has technical and conceptual knowledge. The effectiveness of the manager's work is reflected in his success. A manager is effective in his work if he successfully manages time, arranges tasks according to priority and thus solves them, makes effective decisions, is focused on contribution, uses all potentials to achieve the goal and successfully manage the team. The aim of this research was to find out about job satisfaction of nurses / technicians in the Republic of Croatia; how satisfied they are with current jobs, interpersonal relationships, what motivates them in their work, how important the possibility of advancement at work is to them, whether they receive praise and recognition from their superiors. 119 participants participated in the study. Of which it were only 4 male and 115 female participants. The research has been proven by nurses / technicians in Croatia. Research has shown that in most organizations there is still no system of reward and motivation by the superior. According to the results, it is clear that rewards and praises are important to the employees. Praise should be part of everyday communication because it encourages employees, evaluates strong connections, and work is more productive.
