Abstract Menadžment je tijekom godina doživio svoj uzlet i rast. Takav rast temelji se na potrebi za
boljom organizacijom posla, povećanju opsega poslovanja i sličnim aspektima. Iz tog razloga
javljaju se prvi menadžeri, pa i samim time menadžment i menadžeri postaju jedan od predmeta
proučavanja i beskonačnih pokušaja za unapređenjima. Menadžerske vještine postale su ključni
aspekt unapređenja i osobnog razvoja svakog menadžera. Ovisno o segmentu koji se promatra,
moguće je sagledati popriličan broj menadžerskih vještina. Vremenom se javlja sve više literature
i ideja kako unaprijediti iste. Baš iz tog razloga nastaje ovaj rad, koji se bavi pitanjem
menadžerskih vještina, osobito kada je riječ o vještinama upravljanja ljudskim potencijalima. U
teorijskom dijelu detaljno su proučene vještine koje se odnose na vještine upravljanja ljudskim
potencijalima i koje imaju doticaja s navedenom vještinom. Neke od vještina koje su obrađene su
vještina planiranja, vještina organiziranja, vještine komunikacije, vještine motivacije i mnoge
druge, a poseban je naglasak na vještinama vođenja i upravljanja ljudskim resursima. Navedena
područja obrađena su pomoću mnogo primjera kojima je cilj potkrijepiti teoriju, koja je često teže
shvatljiva, kako bi postala praktična i razumljivija, a opet jednako poučna kao i teže shvatljiva
teorija zajedno s definicijama koje područje nosi. U želji da se ne govori samo u teorijskom aspektu
nastaje anketni upitnik koji se plasira na području Republike Hrvatske i kojemu je cilj ispitati ulogu
i važnost menadžerskih vještina u odnosu na vještine upravljanja ljudskim potencijalima. Podaci
prikupljeni istraživanjem obrađeni su deskriptivnom statistikom te su doneseni zaključci koji su
se mogli izvesti s obzirom na dobivene rezultate. Rezultati i zaključci prikazani su grafičkim
prikazima, koji također omogućavaju da se željeno prikaže na jednostavan, lako shvatljiv i poučan
način. Rezultat je slika stanja u kojemu se nalaze hrvatski menadžeri. Neka područja zasigurno je
potrebno unaprijediti, ali isto tako postoje područja koja su kvalitetna i po rezultatima istraživanja
snaga hrvatskih menadžera kada se govori o segmentu menadžerskih vještina koje se odnose na
upravljanje ljudskim potencijalima.
Abstract (english) Management has experienced its rise and growth over the years. That growth is based on the
need for better organisation of work, increasing the volume of business and similar aspects. For
this reason, the first managers are formed, and because of that managers and management become
one of the subjects of study and endless attempts for improvement. Managerial skills have become
a key aspect of the advancement and personal development of every manager. Depending on the
segment being observed, it is possible to see a considerable number of managerial skills. Over
time, more and more literature and ideas on how to improve them are being created. That is the
main reason of writting this work who talk about managerial skills, especially when it comes to
human resources management skills. The theoretical part examines in detail the skils related to
human resource management skills and which have in common with this skill. Some of ther skills
covered are planning skills, organizing skills, communication skills, motivation skills and many
others, with a special emphasis on human resource management and governance skills. There areas
have been processed through mand examples aimed at beautifiying a theory that is often more
difficult to understand and bringing it to a practical level that is easy to understand, yet as
instructive as theory in somewhat more difficult to understand form along with definitions of the
field. In order not to speak only in theoretical aspect, a survey questionnaire is created that is placed
in the Republic of Croatia and which aims to examine the role and importance of managerial skills
in relation to human resources management skills. Data collected by the survey were processed by
descriptive statistics and conclusions were drawn. The results and conclusions are presented
through graphical representations that also allow that everything is showed in a simple way that is
easy to understand and instructive. The result of everything is picture of situation in which Croatian
managers are. Some areas definitley need improvement but there are also areas that are good
quality accoridng to results of a survey which is strength of Croatian managers when it comes to
the segment of managerial skills related to human resource management.
