Abstract Kontakt „koža na kožu“ podrazumijeva pozicioniranje novorođenčeta neposredno nakon poroda i sušenja izravno na majčina gola prsa, oboje pokriveno toplim pokrivačem i ostavljeni najmanje sat vremena kada se događa i pokušaj prvog podoja. U istraživanje su uključene medicinske sestre rađaona i neonatologije četiri zagrebačka rodilišta (Klinički bolnički centar Zagreb, Klinička bolnica Merkur, Klinička bolnica Sveti duh i Klinički bolnički centar Sestre milosrdnice). Istraživanje je provedeno korištenjem izvornog anonimnog upitnika dostupnog u članku „Survey of Skin-to-Skin Contact with Obstetrics and Pediatric Nurses“ Varijable istraživanja bile su znanje, stavovi, edukacija i provođenje postupka. Prediktorske varijable bile su obrazovanje, dob, radno mjesto i bračni status.
Abstract (english) "Skin-to-skin" contact means positioning the newborn immediately after birth and drying directly on the mother's bare chest, both covered with a warm blanket and left for at least an hour when the first breastfeeding attempt occurs. The introduction of skin-to-skin contact in healthcare facilities requires an understanding of its benefits by healthcare professionals. The aim of this research is to analyze knowledge, attitudes, the possibility of education and the implementation of the "skin-to-skin" method in delivery rooms and neonatal intensive care units in the city of Zagreb. The research involved delivery and neonatology nurses of four Zagreb maternity hospitals (Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb, Clinical Hospital Merkur, Clinical Hospital Sveti Duh and Clinical Hospital Center Sestre milosrdnice). The research was conducted using the original anonymous questionnaire available in the article "Survey of Skin-to-Skin Contact with Obstetrics and Pediatric Nurses". The research variables were knowledge, attitudes, education and procedure implementation. The predictor variables were education, age, workplace and marital status. The software package STATISTICA 11.0 was used for statistical data processing. 77 nurses between the ages of 20 and > 50 were included in the research. Nurses showed good to very good knowledge, with the fact that on 4 out of 5 questions, nurses from the delivery room showed slightly better knowledge. As for the attitudes and beliefs of the respondents regarding the implementation of the "skin-to-skin" procedure, both groups have very positive attitudes. The evaluations of the implementation of the procedure were very similar in the two groups of nurses, and the only statistically significant difference was confirmed for the statement "I believe that the KNK is well implemented at my workplace." (p=0.0477) where nurses from neonatology gave a higher rating (4.3±0.8) compared to nurses from the delivery room (3.8±1.1). The sum of all responses related to knowledge, attitudes and beliefs, education, and the implementation of the "skin-to-skin" procedure of nurses from the delivery room is higher than that of neonatology nurses, while the results in the case of the "skin-to-skin" procedure are almost identical for the two group. The results of basic statistics and multiple regression analysis and the general regression model confirmed that of the four predictor variables, only the level of education has a positive impact on knowledge and attitudes and beliefs about the implementation of the "skin-on-skin" procedure.
