Children and young people are increasingly exposed to media content that is full of violent behavior, which has a strong influence on them and their behavior. Young people and children have become an indispensable media audience of everyday life. The biggest influence in shaping new types of violence among children and young people is the development of the Internet and social networks. New generations, as well as generation Z, have been in contact with the Internet and social networks since birth, they do not know the world of communication without social networks and technology. The development of digital media and technology has shaped their way of communication. The use of social networks in communication among young people and children is common today. With the help of social networks and technical devices, they create their own world and their own rules in communication, and the violence that once existed turns into electronic violence. According to many researches and monitoring of the global market in the use of social networks, Snapchat is becoming the fastest growing network, and its largest number of users belongs to generation Z. Snapchat, as one of the most popular social networks, differs from other social networks in terms of its characteristics and specifics, which attracts children and young. Although Snapchat has prescribed rules and terms of use, it is not immune to being used by Generation Z as a tool to spread violence. Violence spread through a social network can have major consequences for young people. In order to prevent electronic violence on Snapchat as well as on other social networks, prevention is necessary. With the help of prevention, we can act on children and young people as well as on parents to familiarize themselves with the forms of violence in order to be able to recognize them and thereby prevent them.
