Abstract Normizacija u turizmu odnosi se na uspostavljanje normi, smjernica i propisa koji reguliraju
kvalitetu usluge i poslovanje u turističkom sektoru. Ova praksa ima ključnu ulogu u
osiguravanju visoke razine kvalitete usluge, zaštiti interesa potrošača i promicanju održivog
razvoja turizma. Jedan od glavnih ciljeva normizacije u turizmu je postizanje dosljedne
kvalitete usluga u različitim turističkim destinacijama i sektorima. To se postiže
uspostavljanjem normi za različite aspekte turizma, poput smještaja, prehrane, usluga prijevoza,
turističkih atrakcija i ostalih relevantnih područja. One definiraju minimalne zahtjeve koji se
moraju ispuniti kako bi se osigurala visoka razina kvalitete usluge, sigurnost gostiju i njihovo
zadovoljstvo. Isto tako, pružaju smjernice o transparentnosti, poštenoj trgovini, pravima
potrošača i zaštiti okoliša. Uzimajući u obzir specifične potrebe i očekivanja gostiju, norme
olakšavaju donošenje informiranih odluka o odabiru turističkih proizvoda i usluga. Uvođenje
normi u turizmu također promiče održivi razvoj, a često uključuju smjernice za ekološki
prihvatljive prakse, energetsku učinkovitost, zaštitu prirodnih resursa i očuvanje kulturne
baštine. Održivi turizam postaje sve važniji kako bi se osiguralo da turizam doprinosi lokalnom
razvoju bez negativnih utjecaja na okoliš i zajednicu.
Abstract (english) Standardization in tourism refers to the establishment of norms, guidelines and regulations that
regulate the quality of service and business in the tourism sector. This practice has a key role in
ensuring a high level of service quality, protecting the interests of consumers and promoting
the sustainable development of tourism. One of the main goals of standardization in tourism is
to achieve consistent quality of services in different tourist destinations and sectors. This is
achieved by establishing norms for various aspects of tourism, such as accommodation, food,
transport services, tourist attractions and other relevant areas. They define the minimum
requirements that must be met in order to ensure a high level of service quality, guest safety
and satisfaction. They also provide guidance on transparency, fair trade, consumer rights and
environmental protection. Taking into account the specific needs and expectations of guests,
the norms facilitate making informed decisions about the selection of tourist products and
services. The introduction of norms in tourism also promotes sustainable development, often
including guidelines for environmentally friendly practices, energy efficiency, protection of
natural resources and preservation of cultural heritage. Sustainable tourism is becoming
increasingly important to ensure that tourism contributes to local development without negative
impacts on the environment and community.
