Abstract
3D model je digitalna reprezentacija trodimenzionalnog objekta napravljena specijalnim programima za to. Više 3D struktura čini scenu, a svaki model sadrži matematički prikaz oblika, te način na koji svjetlost pada na njega. Ključni dio 3D modela je tekstura, koja stvara dojam visoke vizualne vjernosti. Tekstura opisuje površinu modela i njegovu interakciju sa svjetlom, uključujući boju, sjaj i prozirnost. U igri Counter-Strike 2 teksture igraju važnu ulogu. Izlaskom CS:GO-a i predstavljanjem skinova igra postaje sve popularnija. Iz raznih razloga igrači vole imati skinove na oružju i za njih izdvajaju velike količine novca. Valve je uvidio priliku za zaradom tako što će igrači praviti skinove za igru. Cilj je napraviti nekoliko skinova, objaviti ih na Steam Workshop i dobiti dobre recenzije, a time i ostvariti veće šanse za potencijalno partnerstvo sa developerima Counter Strikea.
Abstract (english)
A 3D model is a digital representation of a three-dimensional object made with special programs for that. Multiple 3D structures make up the scene, and each model contains a mathematical representation of the shape, and the way light falls on it. A key part of the 3D model is the texture, which creates the impression of high visual fidelity. Texture describes the model's surface and how it interacts with light, including color, gloss, and transparency. Textures play an important role in Counter-Strike 2. With the release of CS:GO and the introduction of skins, the game is becoming more and more popular. For various reasons, players like to have weapon skins and spend large amounts of money on them. Valve saw an opportunity to make money by having players make skins for the game. The goal is to make a few skins, publish them on the Steam Workshop and get good reviews, and thus have a better chance of a potential partnership with the developers of Counter Strike.
