Abstract
Digitalna transformacija donosi mnoge prednosti, ali isto tako i izazove. Poslovne organizacije se trebaju prilagoditi novim tehnologijama i promjenu tradicionalnih poslovnih modela. Isto tako, potrošači dobivaju bolje korisničko iskustvo s većom transparentnošću i većim izborom. Digitalna transformacija tržišta maloprodaje, uzimajući Amazon kao ključni primjer, pruža značajan uvid u promjene u maloprodajnoj industriji uzrokovane tehnološkim napretkom i globalnim izazovima poput pandemije COVID-19. Kao lider u online maloprodaji, Amazon demonstrira kako tehnološke inovacije i strateške prilagodbe mogu revolucionirati maloprodajni sektor, unaprijediti korisničko iskustvo i stvoriti nove poslovne modele koji postavljaju industrijske standarde. Pandemija COVID-19 ubrzala je prelazak potrošača na online kupovinu, što je dramatično povećalo potražnju za e-trgovinom i digitalnim uslugama. Amazon je, suočen s naglim porastom potražnje, brzo prilagodio svoje operativne i marketinške strategije. Otvorivši nove distribucijske centre, povećavši logističke kapacitete i unaprijedivši tehnološke platforme, Amazon je uspješno odgovorio na izazove pandemije i dodatno unaprijedio svoje poslovanje.
Abstract (english)
Digital transformation brings many advantages, but also challenges. Business organizations need to adapt to new technologies and changes in traditional business models. Also, consumers get a better user experience with more transparency and more choice. The digital transformation of the retail market, taking Amazon as a key example, provides significant insight into the changes in the retail industry caused by technological advances and global challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic. As a leader in online retail, Amazon demonstrates how technological innovation and strategic adaptation can revolutionize the retail sector, improve the customer experience and create new business models that set industry standards. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the shift of consumers to online shopping, which has dramatically increased the demand for e-commerce and digital services. Faced with a surge in demand, Amazon quickly adjusted its operational and marketing strategies. By opening new distribution centers, increasing logistics capacity and improving technological platforms, Amazon successfully responded to the challenges of the pandemic and further improved its business.
