Abstract U ovom diplomskom radu su obrađeni izazovi koji nastaju tijekom zavarivanja nehrđajućih čelika. Dati je detaljni pregled o svojstvima, podjeli i primjeni nehrđajućih čelika. Također, opisane su tehnologije zavarivanja nehrđajućih čelika, kao i određivanje parametara zavarivanja i odabir zaštitnog plina. Objašnjena su ispitivanja otpornosti na koroziju koja se mogu provoditi na uzorcima zavarenih spojeva nehrđajućih čelika.
U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada na odgovarajućim uzorcima provedeno je TIG zavarivanje uz promjenu parametara postupka prema pripremljenom planu pokusa i uz varijaciju brzine zavarivanja. Na zavarenim uzorcima provedeno je vizualno ispitivanje zavarenih spojeva te ispitivanje mehaničkih svojstava na uzorcima.
Cilj eksperimentalnog dijela bio je odrediti utjecaj brzine zavarivanja na izgled i geometriju zavara, usporediti duljine lica zavara i korijena zavara između uzoraka te napraviti ispitivanje na koroziju. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada pomoću automata za pravocrtno zavarivanje, provedeno je TIG zavarivanje četiri uzoraka. Kod zavarivanja mijenjana je brzina zavarivanja, dok su ostali parametri ostali isti. Nakon provedenog eksperimenta može se zaključiti da je bolja penetracija i kvaliteta zavara kod manje brzine zavarivanja. Razlog tome je što je povećanjem brzine zavarivanja, manji unos topline po jedinici dužine. Tako uzorak broj jedan, gdje je najveća brzina zavarivanja, nije potpuno protaljen. Što se tiče ispitivanja na koroziju, došlo je do matiranja površine uzorka, ali nije došlo do klasične boje korodiranog čelika jer su uzorci bili potpuno prekriveni klorovodičnom kiselinom bez pristupa kisiku.
Abstract (english) This paper deals with the challenges of TIG welding materials from stainless steels. A detailed overview of the properties, classification, and applications of stainless steels is provided. Additionally, the technologies for welding stainless steels are described, along with the determination of welding parameters and the selection of shielding gas. Examinations of corrosion resistance that can be conducted on samples of welded joints of stainless steels are also explained.
In the experimental part of the work, TIG welding was performed on appropriate samples, with variations in process parameters according to a prepared experimental plan and variations in welding speed. Visual inspections of the welded joints and mechanical property tests on the samples were conducted. The aim of the experimental part was to determine the effect of welding speed on the appearance and quality of the welds. Using a straight-line welding machine, TIG welding was performed on four samples. The welding speed was varied while keeping the other parameters constant.
After conducting the experiment, it can be concluded that better penetration and weld quality occur at lower welding speeds. This is because increasing the welding speed results in a lower heat input per unit length. Thus, sample number one, which had the highest welding speed, was not fully melted through. Regarding the corrosion tests, the surface of the sample became dull, but there was no typical coloration of corroded steel, as the samples were completely covered with hydrochloric acid.
