Abstract Prije davno u prošlost, sve što se moglo konzumirati i koristiti od hrane, koristilo se odmah gdje je pronađeno, a tikve, školjke i lišće su se koristile za posude koje su se kasnije izrađivale i od prirodnih materijala. Današnja ambalaža ne samo da uključuje moderni, personaliziran dizajn i privlačan izgled, ona poprima funkcije aktivnog i inteligentnog pakiranja što donosi određene prednosti za krajnjeg korisnika. Tehnologija nije zaobišla ambalažnu industriju te su se razvile mnoge tehnike i metode pametnog pakiranja koje poboljšavaju tradicionalne vrste u okviru boljeg praćenjea kvalitete proizvoda, sustavi aktivnog nadzora, naljepnice osjetljive na temperaturu i interaktivna iskustva. Upravo je zato cilj ovog rada saznati kako na navedeno gledaju potrošači te su se osim utvrđivanja percepcije o tehnologijama pametnog pakiranja, željeli istražiti stavovi o spremnosti kupnje proizvoda s većom cijeno upakiranog u pametnu ambalažu. Empirijsko istraživanje provedeno je primjenom metode ispitivanja temeljenoj na anketnom upitniku na uzroku 60 punoljetnih osoba, a ishodi istraživanja otkrivaju kako s obzirom na navedene prednosti, ponajviše zaštiti kvalitete proizvoda, potrošači smatraju pametnom ambalažom nužnom, posebice u prehrambenoj industriji te su spremni za nju platiti veću cijenu.
Abstract (english) Long ago, everything that could be consumed and used as food was used immediately where it was found, and gourds, shells and leaves were used for vessels that were later made from natural materials. Today's packaging not only includes modern, personalized design and attractive appearance, it takes on the functions of active and intelligent packaging, which brings certain advantages to the end user. Technology has not bypassed the packaging industry, and many smart packaging techniques and methods have been developed that improve traditional types within better product quality monitoring, active monitoring systems, temperature-sensitive labels and interactive experiences. This is precisely why the goal of this paper is to find out how consumers view the above, and in addition to determining the perception of smart packaging technologies, they wanted to investigate attitudes about the willingness to buy a higher-priced product packaged in smart packaging. Empirical research was carried out using a survey method based on a survey questionnaire on the cause of adults, and the results of the research reveal that considering the mentioned advantages, above all the protection of product quality, consumers consider smart packaging necessary, especially in the food industry, and are ready to pay a higher price for it.
