Abstract Završni rad „Dječji vrtić kao dječja kuća – izazovi teorije i prakse“ sastoji se od pet glavnih poglavlja. Rad započinje uvodom, razlozima zašto je došlo do stvaranja Dječjeg vrtića kao dječje kuće, kako se ta teorija gradila te tko je sudjelovao u njezinu stvaranju. U radu se, nadalje, ističu temeljne značajke Dječjeg vrtića kao dječje kuće, a to su mješovite odgojno-obrazovne skupine, mnoštvo raznovrsnih centara (kutića), iskorišten prostor hodnika i garderobe, individualan pristup svakom djetetu, suradnja s roditeljima i lokalnom zajednicom, dokumentacija odgojno-obrazovnog procesa te integracija i inkluzija djece s posebnim potrebama. Rad u Dječjem vrtiću kao dječjoj kući usmjeren je na usavršavanje dječjih vještina i oblikovanje okruženja koje je u skladu s dječjom prirodom. Stav odgojitelja od ključne je važnosti u oblikovanju dječje kuće stoga se u radu ističe i uloga odgojitelja u njezinu stvaranju. Osim organizacije prostora, uloga odgojitelja podrazumijeva individualni pristup odgojitelja prema djetetu, osobni razvoj odgojitelja, cjeloživotno obrazovanje, rad na kompetencijama, razvoj suradnje s roditeljima i stručnim timom što je u radu prikazano kroz nekoliko poglavlja. Dječji vrtić kao dječja kuća gradbena je teorija što znači da se stalno mijenja, prilagođava i razvija. U radu se prikazuje primjer dobre prakse dječjeg vrtića „Olga Ban“ Pazin koji je organiziran prema principima Dječjeg vrtića kao dječje kuće.
Abstract (english) Graduate thesis "Kindergarten as a children’s house - the challenges of theory and practice" contains five main titles. It begins with introduction on the topic, the reasons why a kindergarten was created as a children’s house, how this theory was built on and who participated in its creation. In addition, the paper focuses on the basic features of kindergarten children's homes, such as mixed educational groups, lots of diverse centers (corners), used hallways and wardrobes, individual approach to each child, co-operation with parents and the local community, documentation of educational process, and the integration and inclusion of children with special needs. A kindergarten as a children's home is directed towards improving children's skills and designing an environment that is consistent with children's nature. The attitude of the educator is of crucial importance in the design of the children's home, therefore the work also highlights the role of the educator in its creation. In addition to the organization of space, the role of the educator implies the individual approach towards the child, personal development of the educator, lifelong education, development of competences and development cooperation with the parents and the professional team which is shown int he paper in several chapters. A kindergarten as a children's home is a building theory, which means it is constantly changing, adapting and developing. This paper presents example of good practice in the kindergarten „Olga Ban“ Pazin organized according to the participles of kindergarten as a children's home.
