Abstract
Obradom ove teme obuhvaćene su banke te usluge koje one pružaju, prikazane su organizacijske strukture u bankarstvu, podružnice banaka te bankomati i prodajni terminali. U ovom radu želi se istaknuti kako su usluge koje pružaju banke uznapredovale kroz vremensko razdoblje, te kako se rast usluga može očekivati i nadalje. Kroz rad je istaknuto da osnivanje banaka u početku nije jednostavno, te da se povećanje banaka kroz podružnice postepeno doseže. Međutim, danas je to manje atraktivno i sve se više koristi tehnologija koja bankama smanjuje troškove i povećava profit dok klijentima štedi vrijeme i novac. Prema prikupljenim podacima i korištenim metodama za analizu tih podataka zaključeno da u Republici Hrvatskoj broj banaka koje posluju opada, međutim ističe se da je broj bankomata i prodajnih terminala kroz promatrana razdoblja iznimno porastao.
Abstract (english)
This topic covers banks and banking services and presents banking organizational structures, subsidiaries, ATMs and point of sales terminals. This paper, emphasizes that the services provided by the banks have been advancing over a period of time and that a further development of services can be expected. The paper highlights that the establishment of banks is not easy in the beginning, and that the spread of banks through subsidiaries is reached gradually. However, that is less attractive today since technology is used more which reduces costs bank and increases profit while saving time and money to bank customers. According to the data collected and the methods used for analyzing this data, it is concluded that the number of banks operating in the Republic of Croatia is declining, but it is noted that the number of ATMs and POS terminals has grown remarkably over the observed period.
