Abstract Svi menadžeri moraju razumjeti važnost menadžmenta ljudskih potencijala, što će im omogućiti da izbjegnu probleme poput zapošljavanja krive osobe i što je još važnije, pomoći im da postignu rezultate uz pomoć svojih ljudi. Globalizacija donosi veću konkurenciju, a veća konkurencija veći pritisak da troškovi budu manji, a zaposlenici produktivniji i usmjereni na kvalitetu. Također, tehnologija zahtijeva da sve više zaposlenika bude tehnološki obrazovano te da tvrtke unaprijede svoj menadžment ljudskih potencijala kroz primjenu naprednih tehnologija. Menadžeri ljudskih potencijala moraju se usmjeriti na uspostavljanje politika i praksi menadžmenta ljudskih potencijala koji će biti podrška u ostvarivanju strateških ciljeva tvrtke, te razviti visoko učinkovite radne sustave koji dovode do višeg radnog učinka zaposlenika. Proces rada s ljudima kompleksan je zadatak svakog menadžera, a neke od njegovih zadaća su strategija zapošljavanja, upravljanje radnom učinkovitošću, testiranje i selekcija, razvoj karijere, treniranje i obrazovanje, te upravljanje talentima.
Abstract (english) All managers need to understand the importance of human resource management, which will enable them to avoid problems such as recruiting a wrong person, and more importantly, help them to achieve results with the help of their people. Globalization brings greater competition, and greater competition puts greater pressure on costs to be lower, while employees are more productive and focused on quality. Also, technology requires from employees to be more technologically educated and companies to improve their human resource management through the application of advanced technologies. Human Resources Managers must be focused on establishing policies and practices in human resource management that will support the achievement of the company's strategic goals and develop highly efficient work systems that lead to higher employee performance. The process of working with people is a complex task of every manager, and some of his tasks are employment strategy, work efficiency management, tasting and selection, career development, coaching and talent management.
