Abstract Rast poduzeća predstavlja veliki izazov uspješnom poslovanju svake organizacije. U interne strategije rasta spadaju Greinerov model, Ansoffova matrica, investicije u nove djelatnosti, nove kapacitete i proširenje postojećih kapaciteta te ekspanzija, modernizacija i internacionalizacija.
Abstract (english) Company growth presents a great challenge for a successful business of every organisation. Every company needs to have a thorough knowledge of all of its aspects so it could properly and efficiently focus its growth strategies to achieving strategic and other business goals. That can be done through internal or external growth. Internal or organic growth reffers to changes that are happening within a company. A company uses its own resources and their managers have to rely on their own knowledge and skills. Internal growth strategies include: Greiner's model of growth, Ansoff's matrix, investments in new activities, new capacities or expansion of existing ones and also expansion, modernisation and internationalisation. Each of these strategies help the company to achieve certain goals. After a while, organic growth needs to transform and managers must focus on growth that happens outside of a company, and it can be achieved through a variety of strategies that include acquisitions, mergers and other forms of strategic cooperation. In formulating and implementing each of these growth strategies, the companies must take into account various stakeholders with whom they come in contact. They have to study how an individual idea affects a stakeholder and, if possible, how to minimize or eliminate a negative impact any activity may cause.
