Abstract (english) The theme of this thesis is related to robotics, its development and the application of robotics in elementary education. At the beginning of the thesis it is said about the application and development of robotics in the World and in Croatia. There are examples that chronologically follows the development of robots. Information and Communication Technologies, as an essential component of this paper, have a special chapter describing the usage of ICT in education and how ICT represents a challenge to the traditional education system. Further, there are more examples which show on realized robotics workshops and robotics competition for elementary students as well as examples of robotic usage at the University of Juraj Dobrila in Pula. After that, the robot arm used to produce didactic tasks in this paper is described. Its functionality and specifications are described. Didactic tasks are described textually and visually for the best perception of the reader. In thesis was presented the idea for the first didactic robotics workbook in Croatia. A prototype of tasks tailored to elementary school students was created. Samples that were used to resolve tasks in the workbook were made using the 3D printer. Tasks offer future generations of elementary schoolers the ability of better understanding advanced technology and robotics. Such teaching materials and tasks have a great influence on the development of cognitive abilities on students. Primary school age is ideal for the development of visual perception, concentration, attention, logical thinking, conclusion, active listening, etc. Almost no subject in elementary school offers such a range of opportunities for the young learners and only a few follow the advances of modern technology. The author of this paperwork tries to point out this problem in elementary school and offers a solution for Croatian youth to be in step with the rest of the World.
