Abstract Ljudi su prilikom javnog nastupa izloženi procjeni drugih ljudi, što znači da postoji
velika mogućnost da drugi vide i sve one karakteristike koje se žele prekriti, poput
nesavršenosti i nesigurnosti. Za uspjeh prezentacije, vrlo je važno da odražava stanje,
stavove i emocije osobe koja ju prezentira. Kako publika ne bi osjećala pritisak tijekom
prezentacije, bitna je pažljiva priprema te definiranje činjenica koja će se prezentirati, ali
i sam nastup.
prezentaciju, a samim tim i raste samopouzdanje govornika. Glavni je cilj ovog rada
objasniti važnost pripreme prije izvedbe javnog govora jer je dobro pripremljen govor
preduvjet za kvalitetan nastup govornika. Također, cilj je istražiti specifičnosti koje
uspješni govornici koriste uz određena pomagala da bi u konačnici utjecali na
percepciju javnog govora i publike kojoj je namijenjen. Kvalitetna priprema prezentacije
je ključna, smanjuje stres kod govornika, pomaže mu odagnati strah od same
prezentacije te ga ohrabruje.
Abstract (english) People are exposed to other people's judgment during public speaking, which
means that there is a high possibility that others will see all those characteristics that
they want to cover, such as imperfections and uncertainty. For the success of a
presentation, it is very important that it reflects the condition, attitudes and emotions of
the person presenting it. In order for the audience not to feel pressured during the
presentation, careful preparation and defining the facts that will be presented and the
performance itself are essential. The speaker uses his body and voice to best convey a
specific message to his audience. His body language, the symbols he shows, the
intensity, speed and control of his voice, appearance and attitude, articulations,
pronunciation and dialect he uses are just some of the elements that significantly affect
the audience in front of him and reach before the content that the speaker is talking
about. If the speaker is well prepared, he will be more understandable to the audience,
therefore it will be easier for them to find related elements that will help them to accept
the presentation, which all increases the speaker's confidence. The main aim of this
paper is to explain the importance of pre-public speaking preparation, as well-prepared
speech is a prerequisite for quality speaker performance and to explore the specifics
that successful speakers use to ultimately influence the perception of public speaking
and the intended audience. Good presentation preparation is crucial, it reduces stress
on the speaker, helps him overcome his fears and also encourages him.
