organizacije kroz predanost i diskrecijski trud, korištenjem talenata u najvećoj
mogućoj mjeri i podržavanjem ciljeva i vrijednosti organizacije.
veće odanosti, angažiranosti i boljeg poslovnog uspjeha.
dobrobit svog poslodavca i sebe. Brigom o svojim zaposlenicima, menadžeri
zauzvrat dobivaju impresivnu količinu rada i vjernosti. Oni žele pružiti zaposlenicima
priliku da iskoriste svoje potencijale. Također, menadžeri osnažuju svoje zaposlenike,
prepoznaju i cijene njihov doprinos i aktivno traže njihove ideje i mišljenja. Visoke
razine angažiranosti zaposlenika izravan su odraz sjajnog menadžmenta.
Abstract (english) Employee engagement has been one of the major issues of modern management.
Employees are the first and deciding factors in the success or failure of a business,
they are the heart of the organization. Modern organizations expect their employees
to be proactive, to show initiative, take responsibility for their own professional
development, and be committed to high quality standards, and to be engaged in their
work. An engaged employee is one who gives himself or herself for the benefit of the
organization through dedication and discretionary effort, utilizing talent to the fullest
extent possible and supporting the organization’s goals and values. Engagement
helps to achieve competitive advantages and top results. Engaged employees add
extra effort, learn faster and more, and they are more creative. That helps them
achieve higher salaries, advance faster, and achieve successful careers.
The person responsible for achieving organizational goals through managing the
activities of the organization members is the manager. Managers (if they are allowed
to really manage) are able to build relationships with employees that will bring greater
loyalty, engagement and better business success. First, managers need to focus on
themselves to make sure that their engagement is at an optimal level and serves as
an example and motivation for employees. Engaged employees are guided by
engaged managers. Engagement is not forcing employees to work harder, but rather
of developing productive working relationships and a work environment where
employees are willing and able to make the best use of their skills and abilities for the
benefit of their employer and themselves. By taking care of their employees,
managers in turn receive an impressive amount of work and loyalty. They want to
give employees every opportunity to use their strength. Also, managers empower
their employees, recognize and value their contributions and actively offer their ideas
and opinions. High levels of employee engagement are a direct reflection of great
management.
