Abstract Strategiju najjednostavnije možemo definirati kao način ostvarivanja zadanih ciljeva nekog poduzeća. Strategija je način na koji se koriste resursi poduzeća i iskorištavaju prednosti i snage okoline. Strategija bi trebala biti učinkovita tj. realna, temeljiti se na prilikama u okolina i prednostima koje poduzeće ima u usporedbi s konkurencijom, uspješna, poduzeće mora racionalno raspolagati sa svojim resurse i koncentrirati sposobnosti tamo gdje je vjerojatnost uspjeha najveća, optimalna, zasnivati se na mogućnostima poduzeća i realnim ciljevima. Operacijski menadžment definira se kao sistemsko upravljanje i kontrola procesa transformacije inputa u output te predstavlja proces ostvarenje optimalne uspješnosti u realizaciji definiranih ciljeva i zadataka poduzeća. Operacijska strategija odgovorna je za poslovne procese koji upravljaju resursima koji su potrebni za proizvodnju dobara i usluga poduzeća. Održivost je sposobnost održavanja ravnoteže određenih procesa ili stanja u nekom sustavu, danas se najčešće koristi u vezi s biološkim i ljudskim sustavima. Iz čega proizlazi pojam održivi razvoj koji se primjenjuje u poduzećima, te je okvir za oblikovanje politika i strategija kontinuiranog gospodarskog i socijalnog napretka, bez štete za okoliš i prirodne izvore bitne za ljudske djelatnosti u budućnosti. U sklopu strategije poduzeća sagleda se s tri aspekta, to su ekonomska dimenzija, društvena dimenzija i ekološka dimenzija.
Abstract (english) The simplest way to define a strategy is as a way of achieving the set goals of a company. Strategy is the way in which a company’s resources are used and the benefits and strengths of the environment are harnessed. The strategy should be effective, i.e realistic, based on environmental opportunities and advantages that the company has compared to the competition, successful, the company must rationally use its resources and concentrate capabilities where the probability of success is greatest, optimal, to be based on opportunities enterprises and realistic goals. Operational management is defined as system managing and control process of the transformation of input into output and represents the process of achieving optimal success in the realization of defined goals and objectives of the company. The operating strategy is responsible for the business processes that manage the resources needed to produce the company’s goods and services. Sustainability is the ability to maintain the balance of certain processes or conditions in a system, today it is most commonly used in connection with biological and human systems. From what it follows the concept of sustainable development which is applied in companies, is a framework for shaping policies and strategies for continued economic and social progress, without harming the environment and natural resources essential to human activities in the future. As part of the company's strategy, it’s viewed from three aspects, the economic dimension, the social dimension and the environmental dimension.
