Abstract Kruzing turizam svrstavamo u specifične oblike turizma. Ova vrsta turizma počela se razvijati kasnije od mnogih ostalih forma turizma. Ideja kruzing turizma se pojavljuje tek krajem devetnaestog stoljeća, oko 1880.-te godine. Ovaj podoblik selektivnog turizma obično se dijeli prema trajanju na kraća i duža, zatim unutrašnja, obalna, otočna i oceanska krstarenja te tzv. tematska kružna putovanja. Provedena strukturna analiza kruzing tržišta govori da se 2014. godine na globalnom kruzing tržištu ističe tvrtka Carnival Cruises. Najposjećenija kruzing destinacija u 2014. bili su Karibi. 2014. godine najviše su putovali putnici od 40-49 godina kao i putnici od 60 ili više godina. Prevladavali su putnici iz Sjeverne Amerike, najčešće iz SAD-a. u Hrvatskoj je u 2014. Dubrovnik bio najvažnija kruzing destinacija, a ujedno i jedna od glavnih destinacija na Mediteranu. Dugoročno održiv razvoj, podizanje razine blagostanja stanovništva, povećanje broja vezova u lukama, obnavljanje i povećanje flote, unaprjeđenje promocije, povećanje potrošnje turista /nautičara samo su neki od ciljeva domaćih krstarenja u Hrvatskoj koji bi se trebali realizirati u budućnosti.
Abstract (english) We classify cruising tourism as a specific category of tourism. This type of tourism has started to develop much later than other forms of tourism. The idea of cruising tourism is starting to appear at the end of 19 century, around 1880. This variety of selective tourism is usually dived by duration, on shorter and longer periods, then on inland, coastal, island and ocean cruises, and the last one, on themed circular trips. Conducted structural analysis od cruising market shows that in 2014 the company called Carnival Cruises is the one that stands out on global cruising mart. The most visited destination in the same year were the Caribbean. In 2014 the most average years of travellers werw from 40 to 49, and also from 60 to older ones. The passengers were mostly from North America, specifically USA. In 2014 the most important cruising destination in Croatia was Dubrovnik, and also by itself Dubrovnik was one of the most visited cruising destination in Mediterranean. The long-term development, arising the well being of population, increasing the number of berths in ports, regeneration and increasing th number of fleet, promotion, enhancement in number of tourists/boaters are only some of the goals of our cruising policy in Croatia that should be realised in future.
