Abstract Niskobudžetne avionske kompanije bave se transportom ljudi, prtljage te različitih proizvoda na određene udaljenosti uz niže cijene karata. Danas je zastupljen velik broj niskobudžetnih avionskih kompanija diljem svijeta. Neke od njih su: Ryanair, Easyjet, Tuifly, Wizz Air, Eurowings, SkyEurope itd. Povijest niskobudžetnih avionskih kompanija započinje 1949.godine u SAD-u. Način rada zasnovan na niskim cijenama karata utemeljen je devedesetih godina te je i danas u primjeni. Niskobudžetne avionske kompanije ostvaruju profit postavljanjem većeg broja sjedala u putničkoj kabini.Preporučeno vrijeme za kupnju karata u niskobudžetnim avionskim kompanijama je 3-6 mjeseci prije putovanja. Niskobudžetne avionske kompanije imaju velik broj prednosti kao što je kupovina aviokarata online, pružanje pogodnosti redovitim putnicima, posjeduju minimalan broj radnika itd. Niskobudžetne avionske kompanije kao i svaka djelatnost, usluga, proizvod imaju svoje nedostatke a neki od njih su: skučenost avionskog prostora, cijene prehrambenih proizvoda u avionu su visoke, prtljaga se dodatno naplaćuje itd. U svrhu pronalaska niskobudžetne avionske kompanije koja putuje u određenu zemlju pokrenut je blog JeftinoPutovati.com. Taj blog stekao je 2012.godine status Superbrands partnera zbog ostvarenog broja posjetitelja i korisnika bloga. Niskobudžetne avionske kompanije pronašle sudobar pravac prema ostvarivanju profita, pridonose razvoju kulture putovanja i upoznavanja kulture drugih zemalja nudeći niske cijene karata. Turizam je jedan od najvažnijih segmenata koji čini zemlju prepoznatljivom te joj daje mogućnost za konkuriranje na tržištu i postizanje velikog broja posjećenosti. Temelj efikasnog razvoja turizma se sve više ogleda kroz poslovanje s niskobudžetnim aviokompanijama te njihovo konstantno privlačenje na hrvatsko tržište čime bi se ostvarila sigurnost napretka same zemlje.
Abstract (english) Low-cost airlines transport people, luggage and various products over certain distances at lower ticket prices. Today, a large number of low-cost airlines are represented around the world. Some of them are: Ryanair, Easyjet, Tuifly, Wizz Air, Eurowings, SkyEurope, etc. The history of low-cost airlines begins in 1949 in the United States. The method of work based on low ticket prices was founded in the 1990s and is still in use today. Low-cost airlines make a profit by placing more seats in the passenger cabin. The recommended time to buy tickets at low-cost airlines is 3-6 months before the trip. Low-cost airlines have a number of advantages such as buying airline tickets online, providing benefits to regular passengers, have a minimum number of workers, etc. Low-cost airlines as well as any activity, service, product have their drawbacks and some of them are: cramped airspace, prices food products on the plane are high, luggage is charged extra, etc. In order to find a low-cost airline traveling to a particular country, the blog JeftinoPutovati.com was launched. This blog gained the status of Superbrands partner in 2012 due to the number of visitors and users of the blog. Low-cost airlines have found a good way to make a profit, contributing to the development of travel culture and getting to know the culture of other countries by offering low ticket prices. Tourism is one of the most important segments that makes the country recognizable and gives it the opportunity to compete in the market and achieve a large number of visits. The foundation of efficient tourism development is increasingly reflected in doing business with low-budget airlines and their constant attraction to the Croatian market, which would ensure the security of the country's progress.
