Abstract Kroz ovaj završni rad obrađena su dva zasebna pojma, a to su religija i obitelj. Kroz rad se prvenstveno objašnjava što je religija, kako je ona nastala, kakvo je njezino podrijetlo i kako se ona kroz vrijeme razvijala. Religija je kroz vrijeme u društvu imala velikih utjecaja, te se kroz ovaj završni rad opisalo kakvi su njeni utjecaji bili ranije na društvo a kakvi su danas. Obitelj je drugi pojam koji je obrađen kroz ovaj rad. Obitelj je zajednica koja se, baš kao i religija, kroz vrijeme i društvo mijenjala, odnosno mijenjala je svoj oblik, strukturu, definiciju itd. Objašnjava se kakva je zajednica bila obitelj prije a kakva je danas i kakav je odnos članova unutar obitelji danas. Između pojmova obitelji i religije postoji velika povezanost, te je upravo to i glavni dio ovog završnog rada, tj. objasniti kakva je povezanost između tih dvaju pojmova. U radu je objašnjen utjecaj religije na razvoj obitelji u društvu RH te je opisano na koji način religija utječe na društvo. Cijeli rad je prožet usporedbama ranijeg načina življenja s današnjim te usporedbama ranijeg shvaćanja pojmova religije i obitelji. Utjecaj religije na razvoj obitelji u RH je jasno opisan i preciziran, odnosno jasno se vidi postoji li utjecaj religije i na koji način je religija utjecala ranije na razvoj obitelji a na koji način danas religija (Katolicizam) utječe na obitelji u Hrvatskoj.
Abstract (english) Through this final paper, two separate concepts are addressed, namely religion and family. The paper primarily explains what religion is, how it originated, what its origins are and how it has evolved over time. Religion has had great influences in society over time, and through this final paper it was described what its influences were before on society and what they are today. Family is another term addressed through this paper. A family is a community that, just like religion, has changed over time and society, ie it has changed its form, structure, definition, etc. It explains what the family was like before and what it is like today and what the relationship of members within the family is today. There is a great connection between the concepts of family and religion, and this is exactly the main part of this final paper, ie to explain the connection between these two concepts. The paper explains the influence of religion on the development of the family in the society of the Republic of Croatia and describes how religion affects society. The whole paper is imbued with comparisons of the earlier way of life with today's and comparisons of the earlier understanding of the concepts of religion and family. The influence of religion on the development of the family in the Republic of Croatia is clearly described and specified, ie it is clear whether there is an influence of religion and how religion influenced the development of the family earlier and how religion (Catholicism) affects families in Croatia today.
