Abstract Razvijeni i produktivni financijski sustav Europske unije je ključna komponenta njezina razvoja, a predstavlja kompleksnu tvorevinu financijskih institucija, tržišta i donesenih zakona, propisa i procedura pomoću kojih se upravlja financijskim institucijama na financijskim tržištima navedenog područja.
Abstract (english) A developed and productive EU financial system is a key component of Europe's development, and is made by a complex matrix of financial institutions, markets and adopted regulations, laws and procedures that govern the actors in this areasfield. The EU financial institutions, which together with market and numerous legislative procedures make the overall financial system of the EU, focus on allocating savings and financial surpluses of institutions to areas of particular public interest.
In order to supervise and regulate the financial system, a European financial system of financial supervision has been established, structured as a multi - tiered system of micro and macro-prudential bodies of the European Union, which support the adoption of optimal financial decisions that benefit the EU as a whole, safeguarding also the interest of citizens as well as the industry. The financial system of the European Union is one of the most regulated sectors in economics, which contains definitions of rules and mechanisms that enforces the financial regulation of EU financial institutions and markets. His definition and implementation ensures the stability and liquidity of the EU financial system while enhancing competitiveness and market efficiency.
