Abstract Tema ovog diplomskog rada je turizam i dizajn. Dizajn je djelatnost koja pripada kreativnim industrijama te se rad bazira na dizajnu i povezuje se sa turizmom. Svrha ovog rada je prikazati značaj dizajna u turizmu i njegovu ulogu i svrhu prilikom odabira destinacije u koju će turisti otputovati. Cilj rada je istražiti sve vrste dizajna i povezati ih sa turizmom. Rad se sastoji od sedam poglavlja. U radu se objašnjavaju kreativne industrije i djelatnosti, dizajn, modni dizajn, dizajn u turizmu i hotelijerstvu, gdje se objašnjava i ime brenda, slogan, logo i produkt dizajn. U radu su korištene deduktivna metoda, metode analize i sinteze, metoda apstrakcije, metoda klasifikacije, komparacijska metoda, metoda kompilacije, statistička metoda, metoda uzoraka i metoda deskripcije. Sve kreativne industrije su povezane sa turizmom putem konferencija, kongresa, seminara, izložbi, koncerata, prezentacija, natjecanja i sličnih događaja na kojima je prisutan veći broj ljudi koji doprinose razvoju destinacije u kojoj se događaj održava. Dizajn u turizmu ima značajnu ulogu jer se turisti već prije odabira i dolaska u destinaciju susreću sa grafičkim dizajnom. Također osim grafičkog dizajna, isto tako je važan i modni dizajn i modni događaji jer destinacije koje u svojoj ponudi imaju modne događaje tijekom godine privlače veliki broj posjetitelja. Isto tako je važan i produkt dizajn u smještaju u kojem gosti borave kako bi se osjećali ugodno i smireno. Dizajn ima veliku ulogu u našoj svakodnevici u podizanju estetske i funkcionalne razine proizvoda i sustava koji nas okružuju. Dizajn pripada budućnosti jer se uvijek mora nešto novo napraviti i uvijek se ide prema naprijed u skladu sa vremenom i ljudima. Danas dizajn nije više svijest o stvarima nego prilagođenost korisniku.
Abstract (english) The topic of this thesis is tourism and design. Design is an activity that belongs to the creative industries and the thesis is based on design and connects with tourism. The purpose of this thesis is to show the importance of design in tourism and its role and purpose in choosing the destination to which tourists will travel. This thesis aims is to explore all types of designs and connect them in tourism. This thesis has seven chapter. In this thesis explains creative industries and activities, design, fashion design, design in tourism and hospitality, where the brand name, slogan, logo and product design are explained. The research methods used in the thesis were the deductive method, the analysis and synthesis method, abstraction method, classification method, compilation method, statistical method, sample method and the descriptive method. All creative industries are connected with tourism through conferences, congresses, seminars, exhibitions, concerts, presentations, competitions and similar events attended by a large number of people who contribute to the development of the destination where the event takes place. Design in tourism plays a significant role because tourists encounter graphic design before choosing and arriving in a destination. In addition to graphic design, fashion design and fashion events are also important because destinations that offer fashion events throughout the year attract a large number of visitors. Equally important is the product design in the accommodation where guests stay to feel comfortable and calm. Design plays a major role in our daily lives in raising the aesthetic and functional level of the products and systems that surround us. Design belongs to the future because something new must always be done and we always go forward in accordance with time and people. Today, design is no longer an awareness of things but an adaptation to the user.
