Nestandardni oblici zapošljavanja poput nezavisnih radnika postaju uobičajeni, poslovi se šire i distribuiraju putem aplikacija i online platformi, a timovi okupljaju oko konkretnih, često međunarodnih projekata.
Abstract (english) The fourth industrial revolution is based on the rapid development of technology that has a significant impact on the labor market. New occupations are emerging that require a high level of knowledge and continuous learning. Worker’s fear losing their jobs due to the automation process, but due to the shortcomings of robots, the reality is different, and the machines will need a lot of time to be able to work alone without the presence of a man as a supervisor. New skills such as solving complex problems, critical thinking and creativity are gaining in importance and new occupations are emerging and old ones are slowly disappearing.
Croatia is in the process of adapting to new market conditions. She is aware that the fourth industrial revolution is happening today and is trying to catch up with the competition. It seeks to modernize the education system and encourage the individual to develop digital skills. Non-standard forms of employment such as self-employed are becoming usual, jobs are expanding and distributed through applications and online platforms, and teams gather around genuine, often international projects.
The real impact of the revolution on the Croatian labor market can be observed through three scenarios. It is very likely that Croatia will follow the footsteps of the third scenario, where the digital age will bring progress that will be slow, so Croatia will continue to fall behind the rest of developed Europe. Cooperation with external partners will progress, but due to the high polarization between sectors, some sectors will be more successful than others.
