Abstract U radu je bilo riječi o selektivnim oblicima turizma u kontinentalnoj Hrvatskoj,
o turizmu, o njegovom gospodarskom značenju, o odnosu suvremenog društva i
turizma, te o usmjerenosti turizma na odrţivost. Nadalje, rad se bavio selektivnim
turizmom, njegovim definiranjem i obiljeţjima, vrstama i potraţnjom za selektivnim
oblicima turizma. TakoĎer su analizirani razvojni čimbenici hrvatske turističke
industrije, indikatori (ne)razvijenosti hrvatskog turističkog trţišta, hrvatska turistička
ponuda, konkurentnost i ograničenja razvoja hrvatskog turizma, te sezonalnost
hrvatskog turizma.
prakse: selektivni turizam Osiječko – baranjske ţupanije i selektivni turizam grada
Zagreba.
Abstract (english) The paper discussed selective forms of tourism in continental Croatia, which is
less developed in terms of tourism compared to Adriatic Croatia, but has good
opportunities for better development, because selective forms of tourism in
continental Croatia are underused. Due to a better understanding of the topic, the
paper discussed tourism, its economic significance, the relationship between modern
society and tourism, and the focus of tourism on sustainability. Furthermore, the
paper dealt with selective tourism, its definition and characteristics, types and
66
demand for selective forms of tourism. The development factors of the Croatian
tourist industry, indicators of the (under) development of the Croatian tourist market,
the Croatian tourist offer, competitiveness and limitations of the development of
Croatian tourism, and the seasonality of Croatian tourism were also analyzed. The
last chapters discussed the tourism of continental Croatia, the geographical coverage
by counties, the characteristics of tourism, tourist resources, the tourist offer of
continental Croatia, and the development of selective tourism in continental Croatia,
analyzing examples from practice: selective tourism of Osijek - Baranja County and
selective tourism of the city of Zagreb.
