Abstract Promatrajući Istarsku županiju, može se vidjeti da ona ima veliku važnost u turističkom prometu Republike Hrvatske. Istra ima iznimno razvijen turizam te prilagođava svoju težnju prema boljim turističkim rezultatima te ekonomskim učincima, koju djeluju na cjelokupno gospodarstvo u Republici Hrvatskoj. Putem turizma, Istarska županija ostvaruje veće zapošljavanje lokalnog stanovništva, povećava svoju prodaju te plasiranje svojih domaćih roba i usluga. Uzimajući u obzir sve selektivne oblike turizma u Istarskoj županiji, može se vidjeti njegova vrlo velika zastupljenost, osobito u ljetnim mjesecima, također su vidljive i tendencije produžavanja turističke sezone kroz cijelu godinu s raznim turističkim događajima i animacijama. U Istarskoj županiji se razvio gastro turizam uz manifestacije koje su direktno vezana za autohtona jela, koja su uglavnom vrlo dobro prihvaćena od strane stranih gostiju koji posjećuju Istarsku županiju. Takve manifestacije mogu biti degustacije maslinovih ulja, poznate vinske ceste, ceste meda i slično. U suštini, cilj selektivnih oblika u Istarskoj županiji jest zadovoljenje želje turista koji dolaze u Istarsku županiju, omogućiti im potrebe odmora, rekreacije te doživljaja, kako bi se oni vraćali iz godine u godinu te preporučili Istarsku županiju novim, potencijalnim gostima.
Abstract (english) Observing the Istrian County, it is obvious that it has great importance in the tourist traffic of Croatia. Istria has extremely developed tourism and is adapting its aspiration towards better tourism results and economic effects, which affect the entire economy in the Republic of Croatia. Through tourism, the County of Istria achieves greater employment of the local population, increases its sales and marketing of its domestic goods and services. Observing all the selective forms of tourism in the County of Istria, one can see a very large representation, especially in the summer months, and a tendency to extend the tourist season throughout the year with various tourist events and animations. In the County of Istria, gastronomic tourism has developed, while events that are directly related to autochthonous dishes are generally very well received by foreign guests who visit the County of Istria. Such manifestations can be olive oil tastings, famous wine roads, honey roads and the like. Essentially, the goal of selective forms in the Istrian County is to satisfy the wishes of tourists who come to the Istrian County, to provide them with the needs of rest, recreation, and experience, so that they return year after year and hopefully recommend the Istrian County to new, potential guests.
