Abstract
Danas tehnologija napreduje velikom brzinom, razvoj aplikacija za testiranje centralne procesne jedinice računala (CPU) omogućio je korisnicima bolji uvid u performanse svog hardvera, te je drastično poboljšao razumijevanje tehnologije koju danas svi koristimo. Sa sve većim brojem aplikacija za testiranje CPU korisnici imaju više opcija nego ikad za testiranje hardvera s različitim varijacijama i parametrima koje prije nisu imali. Cilj rada je opisati funkcionalnost besplatnih softvera za testiranje CPU-a. Objašnjeni su pojmovi CPU i CPU stres testiranje, opisane su funkcionalnosti Aida64, Cinebench i Prime95 softvera za testiranje procesora te su uspoređene razlike između Cinebench i Aida64 softvera za testiranje CPU-a. Rezultati mogu biti od pomoći svima koji su zainteresirani za performanse svojih procesora i njihove sposobnosti, te mogu uvelike olakšati odluku pri kupnji novog CPU-a na osnovi usporedbe njihovog trenutnog CPU-a s ostalima koji su dostupni u prodaji.
Abstract (english)
Technology is advancing at a rapid pace today, the development of a CPU testing application has given users a better insight into the performance of their hardware, and has drastically improved the understanding of the technology we all use today. With the growing number of CPU testing apps, users have more options than ever to test hardware with different variations and parameters that they didn't have before. The aim of this paper was to describe the functionality of free CPU testing software. The terms CPU and CPU stress test are explained, the functionalities of Aida64 and Cinebench CPU testing software are described, the development software for CPU testing is described and the differences between Cinebench and Aida64 CPU testing software are compared. The results of this work can be helpful to anyone who is interested in the performance of their processors and their capabilities, and can greatly facilitate the decision when buying a new CPU based on the comparison of their current CPU with others available for sale.
