Abstract Emocije su svuda oko nas i u nama samima u svakome trenutku. Zbog emocija se
ubrzavaju otkucaji srca, znoje se dlanovi, osjećaju se sreća, strah i ljubav ili sve u isto
vrijeme. Emocije u određenim situacijama postaju i osobine ličnosti. Funkcija emocija
je pomoć u doživljavanju emocija, reakciji tijela te odgovoru na emocije.
Emocije imaju veliku snagu u poslovnom okruženju. Pozitivne emocije u poslovanju
nemaju cijenu zbog dobrobiti koje donose, od originalnijih i bržih rješenja do većeg
samopouzdanja i motiviranosti. Emocionalna inteligencija je osnovna karakteristika
svakog uspješnog pojedinca i neophodna je za profesionalni, ali i osobni razvoj.
Kontroliranjem vlastitih misli kontroliraju se i vlastite emocije, a vladati emocijama znači
vladati svakom situacijom. Neizostavno je razumijevanje ne samo svojih, već i emocija
drugih te je potrebno uvijek težiti razumijevanju različitosti. Uz sve navedeno
nadovezuje se aktivno slušanje koje podrazumijeva slušanje sa svrhom, pružanje
potpore, davanje povratnih informacija te doživljavanje emocija drugih uz praćenje
govora tijela. Svaki pojedinac komunicira različitim stilom i različito doživljava svijet.
Emocije snažno utječu na prosuđivanje i donošenje odluke, ali i na procjenu situacija.
Situacije koje uključuju interakcije se razlikuju prema složenosti, ali jednako tako i
prema mogućim posljedicama. Može se reći kako je procjena situacije igra u kojoj
postoji akcija (interakcija), najmanje dva igrača te najmanje dva ishoda. Emocije se
nalaze u svakom koraku svjesnosti i procjene situacije i u velikoj mjeri stvaraju ishode.
Iako postoji veliki broj emocija moguće je da se potpuno ista emocija nikada neće
ponoviti i upravo u tome je važnost istih. Emocije su ključ uspjeha, no važno je ne biti
njihov sluga, već gospodar.
Abstract (english) Emotions are all around us and within us at every moment. Because of emotions, the
heart beats faster, the palms are sweatier, happiness, fear and love are felt or all at
the same time. Emotions in certain situations can become personality traits. The
function of emotions is to help in experiencing emotions, body reaction and response
to emotions.
Emotions have great power in the business environment. Positive emotions in
business have no price because of the benefits they bring, from more original and
faster solutions to greater self-confidence and motivation. Emotional intelligence is a
basic characteristic of every successful individual and is necessary for professional as
well as personal development. By controlling own thoughts, individual can control own
emotions and controlling own emotions means control over every situation.
Understanding not only one's own, but also the emotions of others is indispensable
and it is necessary to always strive to understand differences. All of the above is
followed by active listening, which includes listening with a purpose, providing support,
giving feedback and experiencing the emotions of others while monitoring body
language. Each individual communicates in a different style and experiences the world
differently.
Emotions have a strong influence on judgment and decision-making, but also on
evaluating situations. Situations involving interactions vary in complexity, but equally
vary in potential consequences. It can be said that situation assessment is a game in
which there is action (interaction), at least two players and at least two outcomes.
Emotions are at every step of awareness and assessment of a situation and to a large
extent they create outcomes. Although there are a large number of emotions, it is
possible that the exact same emotion will never be repeated, and that is exactly the
importance of them. Emotions are the key to success, but it is important not to be their
servant, but their master.
