Since modern tourists are more and more demanding, more informed and more and more striving for an individualized approach, it is very important that the tourist offer of a certain destination be completed with new products and services in order to provide the individual with a new type of experience. Thus, many alpine areas of Europe have decided on a touristic transformation, of all countries Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and Slovenia have introduced the biggest changes. All the mentioned countries have developed both winter and summer tourism and invested a lot of effort in the development of sustainable tourism through the creation of new tourist offers based on tradition, culture, recreation, mountaineering, wellness tourism, and the like. Of all the mentioned areas, Slovenia, which has invested a lot of effort in sustainable tourism, where cycling and the development of modern health care programs are particularly noteworthy, and Austria, which bases its offer on the development of thematic tourism, while the tourist offer of services is based on a traditional and regional approach.On the basis of the conducted research, a proposal of the product and service offering model for the alpine areas of Europe is given. The aim of the mentioned model is to make the product or service even more attractive and to better inform the local population about the needs, wishes, and motives of travelers traveling to the mentioned destinations. For the purpose of the above, as the number of visitors to alpine areas is increasing, it is very important to invest in the future development of sustainable tourism, which will be realized by introducing additional transformations and following trends at the local and global level.
