Abstract Politika cijena je skup pravila, načela i metoda pomoću kojih poduzeće određuje vrijednost, te tako i cijenu, svojih proizvoda ili usluga. Cijena je element marketinškog miksa i predstavlja iznos novca koji kupac mora platiti kako bi kupio željeni proizvod ili uslugu. Formiranje prodajne cijene proizvoda ili usluge jedan je od ključnih dijelova poslovnog procesa. Na taj način poduzeće vrednuje svoje proizvode/usluge, te određuje njihovu prodajnu cijenu, a sve u svrhu profitabilnosti i održavanja konkurentnosti na tržištu. Distribucija proizvoda je jedan od neizbježnih koraka u svakom prodajnom procesu te ona na taj način utječe i na samu cijenu proizvoda. Njena svrha je omogućiti dostupnost proizvoda ili usluga u određenoj količini, odgovarajućem vremenu te na odgovarajućem mjestu. Kanali distribucije su funkcionalni putovi, oblici i metode kojima se proizvod/usluga dostavlja od proizvođača do potrošača tj. kupca. Uzimajući u obzir da je otprilike pola cijene nekog proizvoda njegova distribucija, svako poduzeće mora odrediti odgovarajuću strategiju distribucije. Kod biranja kanala distribucije poduzeća moraju definirati koja tržišta žele obuhvatiti te s kojim ciljem pristupaju određenom tržištu. Potrebno je formulirati plan distribucije kako bi sa što manjim troškovima distribuirali proizvode na određeno tržište, uzimajući u obzir količinu i cijenu proizvoda, vrstu tržišta i strategiju poduzeća. Što poduzeća više prodaju, to više zarađuju, što znači da distribucija mora biti efikasna. Drugim riječima, poduzeća moraju pronaći odgovarajući kanal distribucije koji će im uz što manje troškove distribucije omogućiti da prodaju više svojih proizvoda od konkurenata na određenom tržištu.
Abstract (english) Pricing policy is a set of rules, principles and methods by which a company determines the value, and thus the price, of its products or services. Price is an element of the marketing mix. It represents the amount of money that the customer must pay in order to buy the desired product or service. Formation of the selling price of a product or service is one of the key parts of the business proces. In this way, the company values its products/services and determines their selling price, all for the purpose of profitability and maintaining competitiveness on the market. Product distribution is one of the inevitable steps in every sales process, and in this way it affects the price of the product itself. Its purpose is to enable the availability of products or services in a certain quantity, at the appropriate time and at the appropriate place. Distribution channels are the functional paths, forms and methods by which the product/service is delivered from the producer to the consumer, i.e. the customer. Considering that approximately half of the cost of a product is its distribution, every company must determine an appropriate distribution strategy. When choosing a distribution channel, companies must define which markets they want to cover and with what goal they are approaching a certain market. After that, they form a distribution plan in order to distribute their products to a certain market with as little distribution costs as possible, taking into account the quantity and price of the product, the type of market and the company's strategy. The more companies sell, the more they earn, which means that distribution must be efficient. In other words, companies must find an appropriate distribution channel that will allow them to sell more of their products than their competitors in a certain market with the lowest possible distribution costs.
