Based on scientific and research methods in this final thesis, it can be seen that the concepts of behavioral economics, heuristics, motivation and cognitive psychology were described and explained. The aim of this final thesis was to elaborate the mentioned concepts in more detail and to explain their application in our everyday life and at work. Behavioral economics is a model that studies irrational behavior and rational behavior and is largely related to the psychological point of view of individuals and organizations and how they make decisions. Heuristics are models when we need a quick solution, without looking for a lot of information to make the decision we need in that short time. After the explanation of behavioral economics, heuristics and its types, follows motivation and its application in work, how we acquire it and how it affects a person. In our everyday life and in work, motivation always comes from within, and we need to have a desire or a goal in order to take action, overcome obstacles and thus reach the goal. This paper ends with an explanation of cognitive psychology and how it affects work, employees and what application it has in practice. The explanation shows the types of empathic leadership, psychological functions of employees, basic psychological traits and personality characteristics, the role of teachers and students in psychology in organizational learning, and groups of characteristics of leaders and followers.
