Abstract Diplomski rad predstavlja metalozvučna glazbala određene i neodređene tonske visine te primjenu metalozvučnih glazbala u nastavi Glazbene kulture. Redom opisuje zvona, zvončiće, vibrafon, metalofon, gong, činele, tam-tam i triangl. Istraživanje otkriva jednu vrlo pozitivnu činjenicu i jednu drugu, poražavajuću. Većina učenika rado sudjeluje u radu s metalozvučnim glazbalima. Učenici s individualiziranim i prilagođenim programom aktivnije i s većom koncentracijom sudjeluju u nastavi.
Abstract (english) The diploma thesis presents metallic musical instruments of specific and undetermined pitch and the application of metallic musical instruments in the teaching of musical culture. It describes bells, chimes, vibraphone, metallophone, gong, cymbals, tam-tam and triangle in order. The descriptions cover the technical and tonal characteristics of musical instruments, their origin and musical literature. The text is accompanied by images of metal-sounding musical instruments. After the presentation of the musical instruments, my work presents the most important characteristics of the influence of the use of metal-sounding musical instruments on the development of children. Starting from the youngest age, preschool and school age. Furthermore, a considerable problem is visible in the lack of metal-sounding musical instruments. Even the simplest metal-sounding musical instruments are chronically lacking in schools. The research reveals one very positive fact and another devastating fact. Most students are happy to participate in working with metal-sounding musical instruments. Those students with an individual and adapted program participate in classes more actively and with greater concentration. Another fact shows that most schools are not equipped with the same metal-sounding musical instruments for any class. Only a small number of schools, for quality work in the teaching of musical culture, have a sufficient number of metal-sounding musical instruments. Despite the lack of funds, teachers occasionally use the existing metal instruments in the school and use them to complete certain performances.
